Making a Pool

Create, own and operate your own investment pool on Dappy.

No Code Required.

Making a pool on Dappy is easy. We've already written all the code for you! All you have to do is set the parameters and add a short description for your pool. Here you can see the templating tool for making new pools.

Pool Parameters

Start Date

Once you publish, investors will immediately be able to invest in your pool. The start date you choose determines when investors will start receiving rewards.

Hedge Ratio

The hedge ratio determines what portion of pooled funds will remain locked in contract versus what portion of funds you will be able to access and monetize. A high hedge ratio (above 75%) will keep confidence high, but may make it more difficult to sustain outflow. A lower hedge ratio means you'll have access to more capital, but requires more trust from your investors. The minimum hedge ratio is 51%.

Rewards Rate

Set your own revenue goals and work out how much inflow you can viably generate per day. Setting a high rewards rate (above 2% daily) may be deemed high-risk. The maximum rate is 5%.

Owner Fee

Every time an investor enters your pool, you will earn a small fee. Set a competitive fee to attract more investors. The maximum fee is 5%.

Make it Pretty.

Set a light or dark theme and choose a custom accent color. Make your pool stand out so that it's more memorable to investors! You'll also receive a random background image when you publish.

Sharing is caring.

After publishing you will receive a direct link, shown here below the title of your pool. Share this link with potential investors to lead them straight to your new pool.

Deposits and Withdrawals

This is the pool owners admin panel. Pool owners use the admin panel to monitor investors' pooled funds as well as make withdrawals from and deposits to the pool.
